Didn’t you get the news? Real restaurants and eating indoors like a person are pretty much banned. Stuffing greasy fast food in your mouth while sitting in the car, or on the couch binging whatever show online influencers told you was good is the new normal.

We also use chlorine to clean our chickens for market.

Not in most of Europe, in here there must be at least 1 or 1.5m between tables and you must put a mask to move on the restaurant but apart from that you can definitely go to the restaurant.
I am going to the restaurant almost every noon .
And many restaurant are now selling on Deliveroo/Uber Eats and similar platforms.

Nothing wrong with that. It’s a good cleaner used correc tly. And it evaporates rather quickly.

We do allow it here, too, but at 50% of fire code rated seating capacity, which is low enough that restaurants are dropping like flies, something like 1 in 4 have already closed permanently. Neighboring states are either doing no indoor dining at all, or 25% capacity, which is killing them even faster

As a somewhat portly American, I will kindly eat all the food in this thread.

Reminds me of a bar in my city called ‘Eaten By Monsters’. Pretty good food, quite cheap and good beer.

The problem is that chlorine is part a processing method that makes up for poorer welfare standards on poultry farms that have sacrificed hygiene for increased production. And so chicken is washed with chlorine and other chemicals to kill off harmful microorganisms, such as salmonella , that may be present on carcasses.May 29, 2019
No one but America uses it also.

Not enough stars in the world. That wouldn’t happen to be Hard 8 outside Dallas, would it?

Lol. Ye', that's one of the sticking points of a trade deal between the U.K. and U.S. post Brexit. The U.S. wants full access to the U.K. and for us to allow U.S. growth hormones in animals, chlorinated chicken, etc... and no offence, we don't want it.

Non taken. I’ve been to Europe a few times and was shocked at how good the McDonald’s was than in the states.
The food quality over there is far superior than here, and no one sold 84 ounce soft drinks too.
:P

If you ever get the chance to eat at Hard 8, do it! Your arteries will harden to the point of a heart attack within a half hour of finishing, but you will die with a smile on your face. ;-)

I live across the street from an indoor co-op market that has a restaurant called Revival in it. They smoke meats basically 24/7 so when the wind is right I’m basically forced to go eat some. It’s a wonder I’m not 400 lbs.

No worse smell I can recall than the gut truck leaving the Holly Farms processing plant in do wntown N.WIlkesboro. We could smell it for blocks on a hot summer day. I used to work at the dairy across the street. We could smell it in the freezer!
